About the Presenter: Liz Colodny

Liz has years of experience as a corporate staffing leader, negotiating directly with candidates seeking to land jobs at all levels and across every functional area. After 20 years of corporate roles, she worked as an outplacement coach, and also in executive search.  She then developed a private coaching practice, focused on career and leadership coaching.  Liz is currently Associate Director of Career Development at Cornell University, coaching Executive MBAs at the Johnson School.  Her expertise includes every aspect of career management and coaching for career transition (job search strategy, effective networking, interviewing, résumé, cover letter and LinkedIn profile development, offer negotiation and on-boarding.) Liz earned her BA in Humanities at The University of Chicago and an MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.  She is also a Certified Professional Coach and Certified Professional Resume writer.  Learn more at: or
