Join us for our October cooking event at the Publix Aprons Cooking School in Citrus Park. This is an opportunity to have fun with fellow University of Chicago alumni and to learn new cooking skills and recipes in Aprons’ well-equipped private cooking/teaching kitchen. And to enjoy the fruits of your labors after the cooking is done!
The menu: French Quarter
Nicoise Salad with French Viniagrette
Coq Au Vin (red wind braised chicken with mushrooms, onions and herbs)
Haricot Verts and Lyonnaise Potatoes
Sabayon with mixed glazed berries
Wine is included at the luncheon when we sit down to eat what we have created.
Cost is $40 per person, and includes a 2-hour hands-on cooking class followed by dining on what we have created. Registration is limited to a maximum of 14 participants for this event. Please advise if you have any food allergies!
